Affiliation: Perfusionist at Grand Hopital de Charleroi – Belgium

After graduating in 2012 at UCSC as a perfusionist (Italy) and after developping a passion for perfusion system optimisation, I immediately settled in Belgium, where I’ve been practising for over 12 years under the guidance of U. Borrelli ECCP. I’ve gained several specializations over the years, including EBCP and radiation protection (Belgium), evoked potentials training (Switzerland). In 2022, I earned a MSc in Technology Sciences on CPB and Circulatory Support from the Sorbonne University (France). I’m a versatile, knowledgeable professional in Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, as well as since 2015 management hybrid rooms, evoked potentials and medical imaging for endovascular/TAVI procedures. My evolving expertise ensures patient’s safety and valuable support to surgical teams. I also contribute to the educational training of perfusionists.
