Dr. Ehrlich is currently an Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery, attending physician and Director of the Aortic as well as Atrial Fibrillation Program at the University of Vienna.
His current research interests include a new anastomotic devices for aortic aneurysms and dissections. He filed a patent on that new device and is CEO of the start-up company Aortic Intervention. Moreover, Dr. Ehrlich has served as a faculty member in several international symposia, is AATS and ISMICS member and reviewer of the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Circulation and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. Furthermore, he is the organizer of the “VISAR” symposium which takes place biannually in Vienna.
Dr. Ehrlich is the author and coauthor of over 200 articles, abstracts and book chapters published in leading scientific journals
